Let's Toast It Up! Three Premium Champagnes For Your First Toast.

The ceremony is done, post wedding portraiture complete... IT'S PARTY TIME!

Many look forward for the moment of the toasts from your honor attendant and best man. What will be your beverage of choice for that toast? There are so many great options to choose from and your venue or caterer will have many standards to select from for your guests. If you would like to have that one unique element again - get a special bottle of champagne for you and your fiancé for the toast and to sip on through the evening. These options put the luxe in luxurious champagne selections - making them three of the best to select from in the world:

1. ARMAND DE BRIGNAC CHAMPAGNE (aka The Ace Of Spades Champagne).

When nothing less than the best will do, Armand de Brignac Champagne is a great choice. This selection was the number one champagne in the world in 2010. It is described as "a seamless fusion of elegant artistry and bold innovation." The champagne is smooth and creamy in taste and has an underlying freshness to it. It has been praised as being classic in style but perfect in drinkability because its ageing capacity is not compromised.

The Armand de Brignac champagnes are a blend of three grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. They are harvested from the Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards of the Cattier family in Chigny-les-Roses, a tiny village in the Champagne region of France.

There are three champagnes to select from:
1. The Brut Gold, which is their flagship champagne. It is packed in a gold bottle.
2. The Brut Rosé is a pink champagne that is bottled in a pink-gold bottle.
3. Blanc de Blancs is a champagne is pressed from a selection of white chardonnay grape. It is a limited-edition variety of Armand de Brignac is also available in small quantities. They age this variety in oak barrels. Because it uses the chardonnay grapes exclusively, it brings out its vanilla, caramel and buttery aroma. It is bottled in an antique silver bottle.

All of labels for each bottle of Armand de Brignac are made of real pewter. The labels are polished and applied by hand and then the bottle is packaged in a black wooden gift box. The presentation of this champagne speaks to the quality of the Armand de Brignac Champagne and the box and bottle are a beautiful keepsake. Armand de Brignac champagnes start at a cost of $250 for a bottle.

Now of course any one can have a bottle of Dom at their wedding, but you want to take it up another notch by having Dom Pérignon's special edition Dom Pérignon Wedding Champagne! This special edition contains 12 bottles of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2000, Dom Pérignon Wedding also features an exquisite white lacquered box that holds an additional bottle of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2000 with a unique silver label which can be personalized with your name and your wedding date!

Dom Pérignon has been the champagne of choice for the wedding celebrations of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Matthew Vaughn and Claudia Schiffer as well as Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. It has also been the choice for most royal weddings; most memorably, the wedding Lady Diana Spencer to Prince Charles. Prince Charles and Princes Diana's toasts were celebrated with magnums of Dom Pérignon Vintage 1961. Their magnums had custom labels that bore their names and the date of the most watched wedding in history. Last year Dom Pérignon brought that royal option to weddings everywhere (with that said, I wonder if Prince William's wedding will don the homage to his mother's selection for her wedding thirty years ago)!

Why the DOM PÉRIGNON VINTAGE 2000? Because it is an exceptional vintage. It has the classic Dom Pérignon style, but it also has a great contrast that sets it apart on its own. When you taste it, you will find it has hints of star anise, ginger, pear and mango. Your cost for this indulgence will be about $2000 for 13 bottles (about $154 per bottle).

3.PIPER-HEIDSIECK RARE 2002 CHAMPAGNE (Le Rare Millésime 2002).

This champagne came in first place on the 100 Best Champagnes in 2011 list! Because of its quality and the champagne’s accessibility today, it unanimously won panels vote in blind taste testing.
"Le Rare" is cellar aged for seven years and is comprised primarily from Chardonnay grapes with some Pinot Noir. This is Champagne fit for the king and queen of the day (aka the bride and groom). "Le Rare," has only been made in the years 1988, 1998 and 2002 (which was released last year).

The bottle is beautifully designed and is delivered in a beautifully lined black case. When "Le Rare's" are released, they typically have a gold filigree design at the base which little girls often remove and wear as tiara's. This champagne is a light yellow-gold with pungent aromas of lemon zest, orange, pear, floral and gingerbread qualities along with hints of toasty lees and honey. If the name sounds familiar - it is most recently associated with the glass slipper especially designed for the champagne house by Christian Louboutin.
